Like most good things in SL our work is no transfer, meaning you cannot give back the product purchased, even to the creator. So all sales are FINAL. No refunds will be given...please do not ask; we hate having to say no, and it is just embarrassing for you.
- We will refund for for double purchases of same item. Paste the transactions (both of them) on a notecard and send to the creator of the shape. Once we verify, a refund will be sent for the second purchase.
- We will replace missing items but not refund for them since it may turn up. If you purchase an item and it doesn't show in your inventory, please be mindful that this is Second Life or lag, not the vendors or product. Regardless, we will happily replace any items not received if you will simply do the following: First, clear your cache and reboot your computer. If the item still doesn't show in your inventory, go to the Second Life™ website and (www.secondlife.com), go to the link entitled "Your Account", and cut/paste the History Transaction of your purchase, including the transaction number, into a notecard. Then submit that notecard to the maker of your shape (Persia Christensen, Lyra Blackthorne or Rentasha Michigan). Upon verification of purchase, we will send a new replacement shape to your inventory. Please do NOT IM us as our IM's cap and we will not receive them in most cases.
- Please don't IM saying you don't look like the box if you are not wearing the recommended skin. Skins greatly affect the way your shape looks. Our shape worn with another skin will never look like the box, that is why we provide detailed information on exactly how to complete every look, including the lm's to make it simple. Styling is an important piece of the value you purchase with every Body Double look.
- We never hire models. We do hire for floor sales assistance. These positions are commission only; we do not pay salaries. To be considered for positions:
- You must have been in SL for at least 6 months and demonstrate a deep understanding of avatar components...can you explain to a nooblet the difference in a skin and a shape?
- Your avatar must reflect a knowledge of style and quality
- Must own at least 1 full look from Body Doubles (being a group member is a plus)
- Have prior customer service experience - RL or SL
- You must have English language proficiency, so as to communicate with the owners
- You must have a robust computer system
- Must not be looking for a position as a "model"...you must be willing to work! Provide top quality service and sales assistance to shop customers; at minimum 5 hours to dedicate per week
- During interviews you must demonstrate that you are positive and fun, SL savvy, SMART, and service oriented
- This is a RL business for owners, with expectations that staff adhere to RL business standards

When you are shopping for a look at Body Doubles we will model up to 5 of your top choices. If for some reason you need to see more than your top five shapes, please schedule a private appointment with our Image Consultant, Lyra Blackthorne. In store help is always free but tips for the models are always appreciated.

Please do not ask what hair, skin, etc, we used in making a shape. Part of what what you buy with a Body Double shape is the complete styling information. Each box comes with a list of everything used to take the box picture and all the landmarks to the shops.
- Our group, Body Doubles Divas/Dudes, is invite only. Please IM one of us for an invite. Spam or advertising is not allowed in our group; offenders will be ejected. We also have a "Subscrib-O in the shop if you do not have room for group. However, only our private group members receive our FREE gifts.

We don't allow"unknown" shape makers in our shop. We don't visit other shape makers shops either. If you make shapes and would like a visit to our shop, im Persia Christensen or Lyra Blackthorne to discuss.
- While in our shop we ask that you not take photographs.
- If you are afk for an excessively long time you may be ejected.

We can't make every shape requested, but please let one of know if there is something you would like to see and we'll add it to the list.
