Policies

  • As these are modifiable shapes, all sales are FINAL.  No refunds will be given.
  • If you purchase an item and it doesn't show in your inventory, please be mindful that this is an issue relating to Second Life or lag,  not our vendors or product.  Regardless, we will happily replace any items not received if you will simply do the following.  First, clear your cache and reboot your computer.  If the item still doesn't show in your inventory, go to the Second Life™ website and (www.secondlife.com), go to the link entitled "Your Account", and  cut/paste the History Transaction of your purchase, including the transaction number, into a notecard.  Then submit that notecard to the maker of your shape (Persia Christensen, Lyra Blackthorne or Sariella Ashton).  Upon verification of purchase, we will send a new replacement shape to your inventory.  Please do NOT IM us as our IM's cap and we will not receive them in most cases. 
  • Please don't IM saying you don't look like the box if you are not wearing the recommended skin.  Skins greatly affect the way your shape looks.  If  in doubt, ask to see a shape modeled!
  • We are not hiring models at this time.
  • We will model a maximum of 5 shapes for you.  If you want to see more than that, please schedule a private appointment with our Image Consultant, Lyra Blackthorne.
  • Please do not ask me to tell you what hair, skin, etc, we used in making a shape.  Part of what we are selling is the time and effort (hours and hours of  shopping in most instances) to find a really close or exact look.  If you want to know, buy the shape.
  • If you lose your notecard telling you the shape to buy or don't have one because you've shared the shape with someone else, please don't ask for another one.  It's up to you to make a copy of it.
  • Please use the "Search" feature in game to find us.  We're easily located under Body Doubles Shapes.  Don't IM for a landmark, please.
  • Our group, Body Doubles Divas, is invite only.  Please IM one of us for an invite.  If you spam, expect to be booted.
  • We don't allow other shape makers in our shop.  There's no reason for them to be there.. plain and simple.  It's nothing personal.
  • If you're in our shop taking photos of our shapes or standing in Appearance mode trying to copy shapes, you'll be booted.
  • We can't make every shape requested, but if you have one you specifically would like to see made in the future, please let one of know and we'll add it to the list of shapes we plan to make in the future.
  • SL™ is a very big "small world".. Reputation and word of mouth is everything.  If you copy shapes, word gets around.  My policy and desire is to offer modifiable shapes.  If it ever gets to the point that copying makes this more trouble than its worth, there will be no more modifiable shapes.  We hope this never happens.  Life is too short to never be able to make your boobs bigger or smaller:(
