About Body Doubles Shapes

With a Body Doubles Shape, you can transform your avatar into one of over 300 famous stars! Follow our styling notecard to get the full "Body Double" inspired by the hottest stars or mix it up to create your own unique look.

We sell more celebrity shapes than anyone else and are the only shape business in SL to provide a complete makeover with every purchase. Each shape puchase includes a styling card with instructions on how to create a whole new you---from skin to hair to eyes to clothing!

Our shapes are not simple, easy to do, generic shapes... we give you real life based shapes that are much more complicated to create and time consuming in the search of the perfect skin, hair, eyes and clothing to compliment the real-life look. These items are not included with the shape, but with the styling card's simple instructions and landmarks you will find it easy to complete your makeover. Our shapes are modifiable and may fit other skins but they are specifically sculpted to work with a particular skin to give you an ideal fit and look. Unsure which shape you want? Our in-store models will be happy to show you up to five shapes and you may schedule an appointment with any of them for a private modeling consultation. (Gift cards are also available)

Body Doubles Skin Specific Collection shapes are custom-made to fit some of SL's hottest skins and take the guesswork out of fitting your shape to your skin. We make being gorgeous easy!

Our Body Doubles Image Constulants take this one step further by working with you one-on-one to achieve the perfect look and will even create a custom shape for you so you can have a truly unique avatar. If you'd like to send a shape to a friend, we have gift certificates available in our shop.

2. How long have you been in SL™? Since 2006

3. How long have you been with Body Doubles? I came to Body Doubles within weeks of my SL birth! I had a bad avie with purple Linden hair...there wasn't much free in the world then. I dressed myself by hopping on lucky chairs! Persia was selling mainly tattoos and had just started making shapes...she had exactly one (our original Angelina Jolie). A friend introduced me to Persia, who was kind enough to gift me her Angelina shape; I had about 20L in my pocket...collected off the old money tree system! Once she cleaned me up, she put me to work! I was so blessed to stumble into a job I love and even more so to find a partner like Persia who makes me laugh every day (she is the wittiest avie in the whole of SL!)...I am grateful to her every day for the opportunity and the joy

4. What do you do at Body Doubles? I make Avies beautiful! For the shop I specialize in old Hollywood women and mens shapes but, my real love is the custom work. Helping someone create an avatar that truely reflects who they are, or wish to be in SL...sometimes that means working with photos of their real life look which is so very fun!

5. What is/are your favorite Body Doubles shape(s)? For men, since I always adore a bad boy, Dave Navarro or the new Adam Lambert

6. What do you like to do when you're not working at Body Doubles? When I am not in the shop, I am making things for the shop! If I am not working I log out and play house with my real life guy and our two goofy dogs. For me SL is my job, RL is where I have fun.

7. What is something about you that people might not know? Gosh, I am pretty much an open book! What you see in SL is the real me - cept visually, in SL am shorter, curvy and dark haired and in RL I am tall, lanky and blonde! I always wanted long dark hair and big boobs and now I have them!
