About Body Doubles Shapes

With a Body Doubles Shape, you can transform your avatar into one of over 300 famous stars! Follow our styling notecard to get the full "Body Double" inspired by the hottest stars or mix it up to create your own unique look.

We sell more celebrity shapes than anyone else and are the only shape business in SL to provide a complete makeover with every purchase. Each shape puchase includes a styling card with instructions on how to create a whole new you---from skin to hair to eyes to clothing!

Our shapes are not simple, easy to do, generic shapes... we give you real life based shapes that are much more complicated to create and time consuming in the search of the perfect skin, hair, eyes and clothing to compliment the real-life look. These items are not included with the shape, but with the styling card's simple instructions and landmarks you will find it easy to complete your makeover. Our shapes are modifiable and may fit other skins but they are specifically sculpted to work with a particular skin to give you an ideal fit and look. Unsure which shape you want? Our in-store models will be happy to show you up to five shapes and you may schedule an appointment with any of them for a private modeling consultation. (Gift cards are also available)

Our Body Doubles Image Constulants take this one step further by working with you one-on-one to achieve the perfect look and will even create a custom shape for you so you can have a truly unique avatar. If you'd like to send a shape to a friend, we have gift certificates available in our shop.

2. How long have you been in SL™? Since November 2005.

3. How long have you been with Body Doubles? I started Body Doubles in Fall of 2006 and have been obsessed with creating new celebrity shapes ever since.

4. What do you do at Body Doubles? I am the Founder and Co-Owner with my partners, Sariella Ashton and Lyra Blackthorne. I make the Women's Celebrity Shapes.. but mostly I just walk around and pinch the model's booties when they are AFK.

5. What is/are your favorite Body Doubles shape(s)? My favorite shape is still the original shape i made and wear as my own personal shape, Angelina Jolie. I also love our new Skin Specific Collection as I get to be a bit more creative with them and not follow a particular photo. I love different things about all our shapes and love them all.. except Queen Latifah who keeps running away.

6. What do you like to do when you're not working at Body Doubles? I enjoy travel, making candles, watching movies, playing WoW .. and of course walking through Body Doubles and just admiring all the beautiful shapes... and pinching butts.

7. What is something about you that people might not know? This is how obsessed with shape-making I am. Sometimes I'll be watching a movie and see an actresss, and immediately I'll begin thinking of what skin or hair in SL™ would best match her and then I'll mentally begin studying her features so I can duplicate them there. I'm sick, I tell ya. Is there a 12-step Program for Shape-a-Holics?

8. Any other comments? I'm so lucky to be doing this. I truly enjoy my "work" ... taking a newbie and watching them transform into a beautiful avatar.. or seeing a gorgeous avi walk into the shop and say "thank you.. I'm wearing one of your shapes!" Body Doubles is truly a labor of love and i'm so fortunate to be able to share this venture with my fellow crazy shape-obsessed partners, sari and Lyra. I've also made some wonderful friends here among our staff of also-slightly-obsessed models (Chasha, Kari, Gojo, Mayrianne, Sam,Blare, Ladiel & Crital.... you all ROCK!) ... not to mention our customers who are the greatest (not to mention the best looking.. but of course i could be biased).
