December 2010 - A Happy Customer
Just on a lark, and because Brad Pitt is kind of a running joke with me and my buddies (one of our group tags is "Brad Pitt's alt"), I decided to try out the Brad Pitt shape and the products noted in the styling card.
Many L$ later, I did achieve a good approximation of the look. I had trouble finding the eyes and tank top, but easily found good facsimiles.
Some of your shapes/looks are better than others--some look startlingly like the real celebs. David Beckham, Enrique Iglesias, Bob Marley and Jim Morrison are real standouts. (The Keanu Reeves shape looks more like Reeves than the RL photo!) Obviously a lot of hard work has gone into creating these shapes and researching accessories to complete the looks.
I like the fact that the shapes are copy/mod, so I can make a copy and experiment with it without ruining the original.
This is pretty close to the real Brad Pitt, but more importantly is a nice base for other hot looks the ladies will love. ;)

You think football was hot when girls in lingerie began playing the game? Well lookout soccer fans because here comes super H-A-W-T! The Lingerie Soccer League (LSL) is played by the famous LSL Girls who will show the sport the true meaning of sexy. The LSL currently has six teams (Passion, Lust, Temptation, Sizzle, Desire, and Seduction) and are looking to expand along with always taking in new and sexy players to show us what they have. We play in the beautiful Euphoria Stadium which also houses our LSL Pro Shop where fans can wear their favorite team gear. New to the 2010 season are the gorgeous LSL Dancers! This dance team will entertain fans on the sidelines along with making special appearances at LSL events. If you are interested in joining, drop a note card off to our LSL Commissioner Cyrene Perlman and an interview can be arranged. Even a team tryout!
So many of our players and dancers have come to Body Doubles for their shapes and we highly recommend going there for your avatar needs. They have a wide variety of unique shapes you can only find in their store and all of them are superb. If you don’t see anything you like and are looking for something specific, Body Doubles has done wonders for us by making some of the best custom work we have ever seen. I bought a pair of black leather pants from Muism, and they seem to work fine ... I did talk to naith Smit, and he said there are new styles in the works, but that one is definitely discontinued ... he was very nice about it ... anyway, thank you for this awesome shape ... I love, love, love my new look :-)

Dear Body Doubles Management,
While in today’s SL business world, customer complaints are the norm, and customer service is rarely even heard of. I instead am writing you this note to express my gratitude and admiration for your representative, Karisma. I have on several occasions been helped by Karisma and she has always been cordial and professional. On my last visit to your store, she assisted me and a Friend, who was looking for a new shape. She went as far as going to get a Demo copy of my Friend’s skin to show her just how it would look on your company’s shape. This was a slow process and involved many crashes on both our parts. I feel this was truly above and beyond what any customer should expect and certainly shows a level of customer service seldom seen on SL.
Karisma is a great asset to your organization and I know that along with a great quality product, she is a major reason for return customers. As she seems to be on whenever I come in I realize she may be a store sales avatar and be more than one staff member, even in this case the level of customer support is wonderful.
