About Body Doubles Shapes

With a Body Doubles Shape, you can transform your avatar into one of over 300 famous stars! Follow our styling notecard to get the full "Body Double" inspired by the hottest stars or mix it up to create your own unique look.

We sell more celebrity shapes than anyone else and are the only shape business in SL to provide a complete makeover with every purchase. Each shape puchase includes a styling card with instructions on how to create a whole new you---from skin to hair to eyes to clothing!

Our shapes are not simple, easy to do, generic shapes... we give you real life based shapes that are much more complicated to create and time consuming in the search of the perfect skin, hair, eyes and clothing to compliment the real-life look. These items are not included with the shape, but with the styling card's simple instructions and landmarks you will find it easy to complete your makeover. Our shapes are modifiable and may fit other skins but they are specifically sculpted to work with a particular skin to give you an ideal fit and look. Unsure which shape you want? Our in-store models will be happy to show you up to five shapes and you may schedule an appointment with any of them for a private modeling consultation. (Gift cards are also available)

NEW LINE: Our Skin Specific Collection shapes are custom-made to fit some of SL's hottest skins and take the guesswork out of fitting your shape to your skin. We make being gorgeous easy!

Our Body Doubles Image Constulants take this one step further by working with you one-on-one to achieve the perfect look and will even create a custom shape for you so you can have a truly unique avatar. If you'd like to send a shape to a friend, we have gift certificates available in our shop.

Once upon a time, there was an ugly little demoness named Polgara. But one day Polgara went shopping at Body Double, and now she is, in the words of many unsolicited IMs, HAWT! Honestly, I *feel* lovely now. And that makes SL more fun than it's ever been.

SL is a dream come true -- be anyone you want, look like anyone you want.

I wanted to be beautiful. Not cute, not sexy, but genuinely beautiful. And I wanted to be uniquely beautiful. I had a look in mind, but since I also have the styling skills of a young blowfish, I was lost and adrift.

Until I asked Lyra Blackthorne to make me beautiful.

She took my images, my notes, my suggestions. And when she was done with me, I was everything I wanted to be.

No ordinary beauty would have ever satified a vanity as vast as mine. But Lyra not only satisfied my craving to be lovely, she made me more beautiful than I ever dreamed I'd be.

Immodest? Yes. But entirely accurate. I am Never. And that is thanks to Lyra Blackthorne and Body Double!

Dear Body Doubles Management,

While in today’s SL business world, customer complaints are the norm, and customer service is rarely even heard of. I instead am writing you this note to express my gratitude and admiration for your representative, Karisma. I have on several occasions been helped by Karisma and she has always been cordial and professional. On my last visit to your store, she assisted me and a Friend, who was looking for a new shape. She went as far as going to get a Demo copy of my Friend’s skin to show her just how it would look on your company’s shape. This was a slow process and involved many crashes on both our parts. I feel this was truly above and beyond what any customer should expect and certainly shows a level of customer service seldom seen on SL.

Karisma is a great asset to your organization and I know that along with a great quality product, she is a major reason for return customers. As she seems to be on whenever I come in I realize she may be a store sales avatar and be more than one staff member, even in this case the level of customer support is wonderful.
